20th october 2006

Yesterday Nina got her calf.
She was a big calf with bright white and black spots. She has a necklace with her name on the piece of string and her name was Molly. Otherwise Nina could have chosen Doris but she thought Molly was nicer. When we got Molly she was 4 days old that means that they can be taken of their mother. Mostly dairy farmers do that because when you have beef cows you do not have to take the calf off their mothers.
